DAY 1
Land in San Jose, Costa Rica

DAY 2
Shared Whitewater Rafting Class II - III

Looking for a great rafting experience from Arenal that offers excitement, but milder white-water rapids? This half-day rafting voyage gliding down Rio Balsa provides plenty of action and thrills with class 2 and 3 rapids. Prepare to get wet and wild on this two-hour adventure as you navigate through numerous rapids such as ¨Magnetic Rock¨and ¨Dredges¨. Halfway through your tour, you will make a stop to swim. At the end of the ride, you will visit a small family ranch to enjoy a locally-inspired farm-to-table foodie experience.
Doña Mras Gallada Culinary Experience

After your rafting tour you will be taken to enjoy a private tortilla and “chilera” (hot sauce) cooking class and indulge yourself into a traditional Costa Rican “Gallada” at Doña Mara´s kitchen.

Day 6
Thermal Canyon, Hot Springs Forest Therapy

This stunning natural setting is your invitation to wander and swim in the soothing waters. The Rio Perdido is a mile long and is blessed with dozens of natural pools of varying temperatures —perfect for prolonged bathing. You can easily spend the day exploring one pool to the next, while cool swimming water can be found upstream. The air here is perfect, and the canyon boasts a very rare and uniquely intact ecosystem of lush, tropical flora and fauna. The canopy reaches upwards of 160 ft.
