We initially included Jordan in our trip so we could check Petra off our bucket list — but oh, did Jordan surprise us! Beyond the breathtaking ancient ruins, we discovered a land full of warmth and wonder.

From the moment we arrived, the kindness and hospitality of the Jordanian people truly stood out. It’s hands down one of the safest and friendliest places we've ever had the pleasure to explore.

Beyond Petra, our adventure also took us to the ancient city of Jerash, just about 45 minutes from Amman. Settled as early as 7500 BC and founded as a Hellenic city by Alexander the Great in the 2nd century BC, Jerash boasts some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world. Walking through history here is truly awe-inspiring.
Not far from Amman stands Mount Nebo, where Moses first glimpsed the Promised Land. The church atop this mountain is home to a stunning mosaic floor from the 2nd century AD that looks as if it was crafted yesterday — absolutely breathtaking.
Nearby, we visited the Queen Noor mosaic workshop, supporting the local Bedouin community. Their beautifully handcrafted mosaics are not just treasures to own but also ship worldwide. We even got some sent to our home in North Carolina!

One unforgettable experience was the candlelight walk in Petra, featuring a spectacular light show on the Treasury. Even without a specific occasion, this offers a fresh, magical way to visit this incredible UNESCO World Heritage site.

Imagine yourself discovering these incredible sites, savoring fabulous local flavors, and meeting warm-hearted locals who make you feel right at home. Jordan isn’t just a destination — it’s an unforgettable experience blossoming far beyond expectations.
Ready to see what magic Jordan holds for you? Let’s start planning your unforgettable adventure!
