Today we are highlighting our partnership with NoteWorthy. If you are looking for unique, highly personalized travel experiences, look no further. NoteWorthy was founded in England and specializes in providing exquisite experiences in the United Kingdom and France.

Noteworthy has access to all kinds of unique experiences.

Who they are:

In 1986, Susie Worthy — a well-connected Englishwoman — started NoteWorthy from her kitchen table in the British Cotswolds after being asked by her American friends to help with their holiday plans whilst in Great Britain.

They preferred not to queue, they wanted the best access to the most prestigious locations, and to stay in hotels a step up from anything they could find in guidebooks. Susie identified a gap in the market. NoteWorthy was born, a company with more than 30 years experience of working with deep connections to open up doors you will never find on the Internet.

How NoteWorthy enhances your vacation:

Cliffs of Moher

NoteWorthy goes beyond luxury accommodation and chauffeur driven cars to provide an authentic taste of British, Irish and French culture. In addition to fast-track access to all must-see visitor attractions, they make the inaccessible feasible through their network of private contacts. Exclusive experiences range from privately guided visits of Royal Estates, to homestays in castles, and behind-the-scenes-tours of iconic institutions.

Destinations:

England, Scotland, Ireland, Paris, Normandy & the Rest of the World

Examples of Unique Experiences offered by NoteWorthy:

Behind the Scenes at the Changing of the Guard - Exclusive Access

Buckingham Palace

The Changing of the Guard is one of London’s most famous ceremonies. With NoteWorthy, you can experience preparations behind the scenes. You will meet the King’s personal guard as the suited and booted gather for inspection before their duties begin. You will have the chance to learn about the ceremony from the Guardsmen, as well as opportunities for memorable photos with the serving military officers at your side. When the time comes for the parade, you and your family will watch from inside the Parade Ground, separated from the tourists crowding the railings who get a much less satisfactory glimpse of the proceedings.

After your special access experience, you will visit the Guards Museum, where you can try on the Guards’ tunic uniforms and bearskin hats. This experience is enriched, both before and afterwards, by your NoteWorthy guide’s tales about London’s most important sites nearby, including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Whitehall and St James’s Park.

Highlights tour of Musée du Louvre

Louvre Pyramid

Enjoy an expertly guided tour of Musée du Louvre with your NoteWorthy guide, who will take you through the museum’s most impressive sights, such as the Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Venus de Milo, and other masterpieces of the Louvre. On this tour, you will have a fascinating insight into the history of this grand palace. You'll spend around 90 minutes in the museum itself: the rest of the morning can be spend enjoying a leisurely look around the Tuileries Gardens which neighbour the museum or the historic Palais Royal area on the other side.

Windsor Castle Tour

Windsor Castle

Head out of London with your NoteWorthy guide and driver to explore the English countryside as you make your way to the royal market town of Windsor and visit Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been home to 40 monarchs.

As you explore the official residence of His Majesty the King, you will see the beautiful State Apartments, Semi-State Rooms, and the grounds of the castle. Be sure not to miss St George's Chapel, which has seen royal weddings, royal funerals and great events for more than 500 years. It is the last resting place of many monarchs, including Henry VIII, Charles I and the late Queen Elizabeth II, along with her husband and parents.

While guides are not able to "actively guide" within the State Rooms, they will "pre-guide" to ensure that you gain the best experience from your visit. They will also be on hand throughout your time as an informed friend.

If you are interested in a bespoke European vacation, let McKee Travel plan your trip with Noteworthy.
