One of our favorite things to do is to help a client plan a trip that is truly once-in-a-lifetime. Antarctica is one of those places.
A client of ours recently returned from her cruise to the seventh continent, and when she started sharing experiences and photos with us, we knew we had to pass a few of them along to you. Antarctica is one of the most remote and awe-inspiring places on earth. Vast glaciers, towering icebergs, and wildlife that seems completely unfazed by human visitors make it unlike anywhere else.
Today we’re giving you a glimpse into her Antarctic cruise experience aboard a Swan Hellenic ship, what it’s like to travel to the bottom of the world, and a few of the moments that made the journey unforgettable.
Thanks for reading!

A Client's Antarctica Cruise Experience Recap
"I enjoyed the entire experience of it all from Rio & Foz do Iguazú, to Antactica & Uruguay. It was a lot of planning before & after but worth all the time.

Swan Hellenic’s, small ship expedition was a well needed respite for me. I had space to have quiet times of reflection and adventure in small bursts.

We were blessed in many ways from day one. We had the 'Drake Lake' experience. It was so calm going we arrived early and had an extra bonus landing.

We had perfect weather so we received an extra bonus landing going back out also on the South Shetland Island. We really did get all the extras.

It was a blessing to have the balcony also so thank you for that bonus upgrade. We were only a few doors apart for the two rooms.

My favorite part. Hard to pick one.
It was refreshing to sit on the back deck every afternoon and eat off the grill. Even at 35 degrees it was comfortable.

The serene scenery that allowed for quiet reflection.

The wildlife that blended together in harmony.

The daily contacts with people who were experiencing the white continent for an extended time from a “penguin counter” to the scientist working on test studies for microplastics in the waterways. It has its own ebb & flow of interaction & quiet reflection.
I want to go again."
