One of the best trips a family can take is a cruise but especially for a big family reunion! This may surprise you. Many people think that cruises are not geared towards kids or families, but the truth is most of them are! Let me tell you all of the perks to doing your next family reunion on a cruise ship.

Family Entertainment

Swimming on a cruise

Depending on the cruise you take, there will be plenty of entertainment for your family to partake in together. Live shows, swimming pools, bowling, basketball, movie nights and the list goes on. Not only will you find activities that you enjoy but the children in the group will as well. When everyone in the family is happy, now that is a great trip!

Cruise port

A cruise offers the convenience of traveling from different destinations all in one place! You don't have to worry about the hassle of packing and unpacking more than once or dragging the kids to all the different spots you want to see. Your ship will have certain days where you visit locations off the boat. Everything is so easy and well planned that you will eliminate all of the stress that comes with a family reunion as everyone has free time to do and see what they really want or do as little as they like.

Kids Activities

Kids activities

Many cruises offer kids camps that your children can go to so that you can enjoy some adult time. The best part is that the camps are so much fun your children will want to attend them. They offer many activities throughout the day. Your child is bound to find something they will enjoy and you won't feel guilty having some time to yourself!

Quality Time

A family needs to get unplugged once in awhile. A cruise is a perfect way to spend quality time together without electronic distractions. Spend this time with one another, making precious memories with your loved ones is really a priceless side benefit of your reunion being on a cruise ship. Cruises give your family a wonderful chance to bond. Thinking about a trip with extended family rather than a larger family reunion? All these benefits work for a smaller group as well as a larger one. I can't think of a better choice than a cruise.

So, next time you are planning a family reunion consider a cruise. You won't regret it! If you need help planning a group cruise, I would love to assist you.

Has your extended family ever taken a cruise? I would love to hear from you.
