Does the word tourist make you want to cringe? Since when did being a tourist become an insult? Not everyone has the chance to travel on a regular basis, so when you get to visit somewhere you have always dreamed, you are not going to want to miss the top "tourist attractions". Don't worry, it's okay. Here are the top reasons why you can embrace being a tourist

You May Only Get One Chance

If you don't have the opportunity to travel frequently than when you finally get to your special destination, it could be your one time. Don't let the fear of looking like a tourist take away an opportunity you may not get back again. See the attractions, go to the top touristy places. Take advantage of the moment.

You Won't Waste Any Time

Tourists won't wander around trying to figure out what to do, most likely they have everything planned out with a list of the top places they want to see. This is great! You can see the things you want without wasting any time, leaving more time for you to relax in between.

You Can Do What You Want

Being a seasoned traveler, you may feel pressure to find the secrets spots in a city or stay away from other travelers that make you feel like a cheesy tourist. Being a tourist, comes with no pressure, you can do what you want. Drink a glass of wine in front of that famous view, take it easy and relax if you want to for a day. You have the freedom to do whatever you like on your trip.

You will Get Great Photos

When you're not afraid to be a tourist, you will get to those great places and snap those awesome pictures. Pictures are moment in time that will last forever. Don't be afraid to keep your camera around your neck, because you're the one that isn't going to miss that great photo. It's the people worrying about looking like a tourist who will.

So, go ahead take pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower, stand in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, drink coffee at that famous cafe', use your guidebook. You won't see me judging.
